Cancer can start in any part of the body, including those sections that people never really think about. For example, take the salivary glands. They make saliva-spit which keeps moist the mouth and throat. This fluid contains enzymes which help break down the diet. It also plays a large role in helping to prevent mouth and throat infections. People have hundreds of salivary glands at their mouth and around them. Some are so tiny that they can only see them with a microscope. Because there are so many salivary glands and so many cell types in those glands, hundreds of types of salivary gland cancer are also present.

Moving forward,  Salivary gland cancer is a term used to describe malignant tumours in or near the mouth which affect salivary glands. Tumours of the salivary gland may be benign or malignant, both occurring at equal frequency. Gland salivary cancer may affect any of the salivary glands. The prognosis depends on the type of people who have salivary gland cancer and the extent of the illness. In the microscopic minor salivary gland as well, salivary gland cancer occurs. These exercises are in the roof of the mouth or onthe floor and in their cheeks, sinuses; tongues, and lips.Usually, benign tumours develop gradually and do not spread to other tissues. Salivary cancer is hard because doctors don’t know what causes this cancer. Tobacco and avoidance of alcohol will reduce the risk of this unusual and many other cancers.
