Some scientists have stated that combined with psychotherapy, some types of psychedelic drugs, such as MDMA, ayahuasca, and psilocybin, can significantly improve symptoms of depression, anxiety, and different kinds of post-traumatic stress disorder.
It may be noted that legal hallucinogens have been tested in the United States of America to understand their possible healing benefits since the introduction of LSD during the 1940s. Historical use of the product
Some of the native societies of the Western Hemisphere used the plants carrying psychedelic substances for various purposes. As per the report, the hallucinogenic mushrooms were treated as sacred, and people used to call them “God’s Flesh.” Scientifical evidence of hallucinogens came to the limelight quite slowly.
However, the shift can be coming quite soon, though, as ecstasy, also known as MDMA, is processing through the third pashed of clinical trials, and it is expected that very soon it will get approval from FDA- Food and Drug Administration.
