Who is it for?

This qualification is aimed at supervisors, team leaders, line managers working in the food industry (and other related industries, such as food providers in the care industry). Qualification is also suitable for individuals who own / manage small businesses. Intermediate food is not a prerequisite for hygiene. However, it is a good idea to have a Foundation (Level 2) Food Hygiene Training Certificate in advance for you. Arrangements are in place for special needs.

How is this assessed?

Two hours at the end of the course is a multiple choice test of 60 questions and you need 40 of 60 to pass. After the course you will be sent a Level 3 Award in Food Safety Supervision in a Catering Certificate.

What do I get from it?

The three-day Level 3 Award for the Supervision of Food Safety Training Course aims to inform you of the responsibilities of a supervisor with regard to food safety. This ensures that you are fully versed in food hygiene legislation and how best to meet your team’s required hygiene standards.
