You will, without a doubt, love the ambiance of the location.

However, before you choose a reliable travel company for China nature travel, you should learn about the different places you may visit. To give you an idea, we’ve put together a list of some of the places you may see during a natural adventure in China.

  1. Chengdu

Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in western China, is home to cute giant pandas. The vertical maximum elevation difference of Chengdu, which is located in the western part of the fertile Sichuan Basin and to the east of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is close to 5,000 metres. This height produces a distinct environment that supports a diverse range of ecosystems, plants, and animals. Few cities in the world can enjoy such unique resources as Chengdu.

  1. Baoxing

Baoxing County is one of the seven counties administered by Ya’an City and is known as a paradise for flora, animals, and, most notably, pandas. The impact of pandas can now be seen all around Baoxing, and the locals value their reputation as the true home of pandas. Baoxing is also a significant biodiversity hotspot and type location for a number of endangered species, including the Giant Panda, Dove Tree, Golden Snub-nosed Monkey, Chinese Thrush, Primula moupinensis, and others.

  1. Jiajin

It is a high mountain in the south of the Qionglai Mountain Range, which is located in the northwest of Baoxing County and south of Xiaojin County, with an altitude of more than 4000 metres. Mt. Jiajin, considered a sacred mountain, was portrayed in old local folk lyrics as “birds can not fly over and man can not climb; to cross the Jiujinshan mountain, unless a god helps.” Its snow-capped peaks and wide sea of clouds are breathtakingly beautiful. Being a core part of the World Heritage Site “Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuary ”, Jiajin Mountain owns rich biodiversity that has not been quite known by the outside world.

  1. Balang

Locals call it Banlan Mountain, and in Tibetan, Balangla Mountain, which means “the mountain of strange willows.” Balang Peak, located at the crossroads of Xiaojin, Wenchuan, and Baoxing counties, is the first high mountain between the Sichuan Basin and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The height increases abruptly from 2,000m to 4,500m from the foot to the mountain pass, providing a diverse range of habitats for a variety of magnificent creatures.

  1. Mengbi

Mengbi Mountain, located 30 kilometres from Barkam, is one of the best sites to observe meconopsis. It is another vital bird-watching and flora-searching spot on this trip. Mt. Mengbi is a birder’s dream, with virgin woods dispersed over the mountain’s many heights and few visitors.

There are many other locations to see during a nature travel besides the ones mentioned. You may also take part in China photo trips and capture the spectacular views with your camera. So, why wait any longer? Now is the time to pack your bags and begin your adventure!
