It has proven time and again that social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and MySpace are useful marketing tools. The key is to build up a large network of friends, and then you can offer advice and tips to potential customers, and if you combine this with article marketing and SEO, you will have created a highly effective local marketing strategy.

As well as using all of these local marketing strategies, you should make sure that you maintain an effective email list. This list of email addresses can be used to send out special deals or just to contact previous customers. It is important to take care with your email list, as poor email list management can lead to your customers not returning. If you want to increase your email list, you should focus on creating a list of opt-in forms for people to sign up to your list.
